Young Investigator Awards
The IACS-NAS has a strong commitment to promoting the academic careers of junior researchers. Accordingly, several Awards will be offered to students, trainees, and young investigators during the conference.
Roberto Bolli Young Investigator Award:
The President of the IACS-NAS invites nominations from a number of early career researchers (including postdoctoral fellows, clinical fellows, research associates, and new faculty - within 2 years of faculty appointment). All nominations will be reviewed by the IACS-NAS Council members and ranked based on merit. The top 4 nominees will be selected and invited to present their research work in an oral session at the annual meeting of the IACS-NAS. The selected presenters are paid complimentary registration and 3 nights of hotel accommodation and local hospitality. The appointed judges of this session will listen to each talk and select one presentation for the award.
Buddhadeb Dawn Young Investigator Award
The President of the IACS-NAS invites nominations from a number of Young Investigators within 7 years of first faculty appointment. All nominations will be reviewed by the IACS-NAS Council members and ranked based on merit. The top 4 nominees will be selected and invited to present their research work in an oral session at the annual meeting of the IACS-NAS. The selected presenters will be offered complimentary registration and 3 nights of hotel accommodation and local hospitality. The appointed judges of this session will select one presentation for the award.
